Gamay / Pinot Noir No. 14
From £21.00
This red is succulent, light and smooth with notes of graphite, smoke and berries.
Our blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir is from the mountainous, volcanic region of Auvergne in central France, which isn’t particularly famous for winemaking, but produces some really cool wines.
Gamay is known for making great, light bodied reds like Beaujolais, but paired with pinot noir you’re left with a delicious Burgundian style wine instead.
Using grapes from the Caves Saint-Verny co-operative, this wine is subtle and light, with a juicy acidity and notes of graphite, smoke, and berries.
We love to serve this wine slightly chilled, at around 15ºC.
